Lanier Law

Transforming a commercial shell into an inviting, light-filled boutique law firm.

Lanier Law, a well-established multi-state Law Firm with a litany of practice areas and a growing presence in Oklahoma City approached Gardner to help create a space that stood apart from the traditional law office environment in the area. The brief warranted a refreshed and newly expanded office Downtown that simultaneously transcended the stereotypical “heavy, hard, dark wood” aesthetic approach to attorney’s offices with modern design and clean lines while maintaining a timelessness that could be trusted.

With a nod to the materiality of yesteryear’s firms, large picture windows were framed in rich-toned walnut that brings in a flood of natural light from the newly activated sidewalk and street front views. Pop Art and Andy Warhol nod throughout introduce elements of whimsy and personal preference, taste, and design. A fully integrated design and build package led to major impact for relatively small space with every detail receiving hand touched and custom-built attention at every turn.
